Hi to everyone out there! All of you are sharing such fantastic and beautiful Valentine recipes. I wish I had at least one of everything I have found!!!
Today, I am sharing a delicious little brownie recipe that you can make for all the special Valentines in your life. I am calling this a rocky road brownie because of the nuts and the marshmallows, but it can be easily be changed up several different ways. Where I add the marshmallows, you could add a layer of caramel, raspberry sauce, or coconut, whatever your brilliant minds come up with! I’m thinking the caramel would be heavenly, I am going with that next time!
I do hope you enjoy and Happy Valentines day!!!!!
Here are a few of my other recipes that you may enjoy for Valentines Day:
Peanut Butter Cookies with a kiss
Raspberry Buttercream Frosting
Cheescake Stuffed Strawberries
ROCKY ROAD BROWNIES
3/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c (1 stick) butter, softened
1/2 granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 large eggs, divided
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans or walnuts
3/4 cup chocolate morsels
1/2 cup marshmallows
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease an 8 x 8 dish. In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa and salt. In another bowl, beat butter and both sugars until creamy. Add 2 eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Reserve 3/4 cup of the batter. Spread remaining batter into greased dish and sprinkle with nuts and marshmallows. Beat remaining egg and reserved batter until it is light in color. Stir in chocolate morsels. Spread over marshmallows and nuts. Bake for 30-35 minutes. ENJOY!
That sounds very moreish 🙂

YUM! Everything looks so good! Can’t decide which is my favourite – love the jelly pop, cheesecake and smores!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed them!
You can never go wrong with Rocky Road. Never ever.
Yes, I am a fan too!
Oh yum! I just realized I have ALL the stuff to make this so I am now headed to the kitchen – it’s cold and snowy/rainy here. Perfect for brownies with marshmallows in them!
Good time for comforting brownies!!
What an amazing round-up! I think my choice would be the cheese-cake stuffed strawberries! : )
Thank you! Yes those were very good!
Presently, I’m thinking of reasons to go home and bake instead of going to the gym.
I know what you mean! Just make some more of your beautiful bracelets!
🙂 Great idea!
Thank you!
I love everything you’ve listed…talk about wanting to try one of everything! I love trying new brownie recipes. I can’t imagine anything better than homemade brownies fresh from the oven.
It’s a nice aroma for sure!
Happy Valentine to you too.
Thank you Viveka!
All the treats look delicious!
Thank you, I’m glad you liked everything!
You know I’m a total sucker for a good brownie. I made some rocky road brownies last hear that were low-cal (like 90 calories I think?). They were good, but I’ll take the full-fat version any day 🙂 Happy Valentine’s Day, Donna! I’ve been looking at your gorgeous scarves- you are so talented!!
Thank you SO much! I was on a healthy brownie kick last year. I made black bean brownies and northern bean blondies…..don’t cringe, they were really good!
My kids would adore these brownies and I will forever be known as “supermom” if I make these after school today. Thanks! 🙂
Well then you should definetly make them!
