When we go camping here in the states, we cook our food over an open fire. It is usually very simple things like hamburgers or hot dogs and maybe eggs and bacon for breakfast, but of course, we Americans would never leave out the sugar…..right? So along with the other food we also love to roast marshmallows and for me the more burnt the better! I love the warm, soft, melted sweetness with the crunchy burnt exterior, so good! As if that alone wasn’t enough, we have found a way to take the sugar rush to a whole other level…..s’mores.
A s’more is created by sandwiching the hot marshmallow between two graham crackers with a piece of chocolate that is about the same size as the graham cracker. The hot marshmallow then melts the chocolate and you have a wonderful warm treat.
Well friends, with s’mores on a stick we don’t have to wait for camping weather. This one can be done right in the comfort of our own kitchens. So here is the recipe. I hope you will love this wonderful little sweat treat. ENJOY!!!
S’MORES ON A STICK
2-3 cups chocolate morsels
1 bag marshmallows
graham cracker, crumbled
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over low heat. Dip the marshmallows into the chocolate. Roll the dipped marshmallows in the graham cracker crumbs. Insert the sticks and torch. Be careful with the torching. Marshmallows catch fire easily and will flame up. Be ready to blow it out. ENJOY!!!
